Shack Burger w/ Fries, Please

After teaching Sunday School in Tribeca this morning, Maddie and I decided to take a walk around Battery Park City and treat ourselves to some Shake Shack, because Shake Shack is awesome. It's just pure goodness and deliciousness and all that is right in the realm of burgers.

I got the bag from Goodwill in Queens, which sells stuff by the pound. It's as amazing as it sounds! Actually, it's quite dirty and you have to be up for the challenge of digging through mounds of clothing that has been who knows where. But if you like thrifting, it tis the place to go! Or if you're like me and super frugal and don't like paying above $10 for anything. There's nothing like getting a J. Crew down coat for under $2, even if the color is reminiscent of Shrek.

Forgive my intense awkwardness, I still don't know what to do with my hands. Seriously. So for now, in the pockets they go! And also please excuse the crazy hair. If it confuses that my hair looks like two separate entities, I apologize. It confuses me too. The story behind this is not a pretty one.

Because the dress code for my school is business casual, weekends mean wearing everything that I can't get away with at school. Hence the jeans and raglan top that just cannot look business casual, no matter how much I try to tuck it into a skirt or throw a blazer on top. Not exactly the most glamorous post, although who am I kidding, glamorous has never been a term to describe my style! But alas! This is what I'm wearing today and that's as good as it's gonna get today folks!

Stripes and Such

It was one of those "Screw it, let's just wear all stripes" type of days. I get into these moods where either everything matches, or absolutely nothing does. Either way, the result always elicits some fantastic looks where people either admire my gusto or look at me with pity. It's always awesome.

What better way to start a blog than with some darker-hued photos and above-average awkwardness!
